My beginning blog, documenting my journey into my crazy aprons and mixed media expression: painting, creative writing, collective art, learning leather work, gardening on a budget, living in Oakland, crafts, food and cooking, and learning the ins and outs of a small business start up, pages of my day to day adventures, my love of heavy music and drumming, and the Zombie Apocalypse. Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction.

Blitzy Discount site
Two words that I can't pass up....crafty and discoiunt. Check it out! It's the trubates model for scrapbooking and crafty supplies (ink, books, paper, etc), but I use scrapbooking more for design ideas and collages, than the suburban mom ritual. There's more to it than that, and some deep discounts!

The corner where it all happens.
Notice the napping kitty next to the sewing machine! I worked all weekend and got my little space together. A trip to Joanne's to round out my essentials and I'm ready to put all my crazy drawings into reality. So excited! 2012 is shaping up to be a great year, with 2011 in the dust. I have my list of requested projects 8 deep in. Today, is the boring chore of interfacing all of my antique patterns. Next on the list; can this woman build a light box? Stay tuned. Should be amusing. Either way, my little swedish chair will be way more comfortable than the corporate chair I held for eight years! Wish me luck.
