Been missing my drum kit...old band links

It's been awhile since I've been able to play drums. Just watched a great documentary on Black Sabbath and it kicked off pangs. Here's my last project, a million years ago. Was a great run, though.

A new contest at Craftster.org

Repost from Craftster.org

Craft Challenge #74 - Rock, Paper, Scissors! - Entries Due May 1 - 8

This month, we've partnered with our friends at Elmer's to bring you Rock, Paper, Scissors!  Your challenge this month is to utilize three simple things:  rock, paper, scissors.  Rock and paper must be part of your completed project.  Scissors can be used as a tool in making your project and/or even used in your completed project.

You might be thinking, "Rocks??"  Yes, rocks, as in geology (not music )!  Your completed project must have some form of rock in it.  If you're stumped for what is considered a rock, no worries!  Here's a nifty list provided by Wiki.  If you are aware of a rock not on this list, feel free to use it.  Use your best judgment.  This is just an easy reference.

Think outside the box!  You are not limited to using rock in its original form.  Crush it, smooth it, carve it, etc.!  Maybe your entry will be a wire-wrapped rock accented with gorgeous handmade paper beads.  Maybe your entry will be a handmade scrapbook adorned with beautiful rocks you've collected over the years.  Maybe your entry will be some sort of intricate paper carving complete with chalk illustrations.

Have fun!

Rules:

Craft your project during this challenge period (Apr 2 2012 - May 8 2012) only.  Projects created before this timeframe will be excluded from the voting poll.
On May 1 2012 there will be a special folder created for entries.  Post your entry on the specified entry board during the period of May 1 to May 8 11:59:59 PDT 2012.  No sooner.  No later.
Voting will happen from May 9 - May 16 2012.
Enter only ONE project.  Your entry can have multiple components to it.
If cheating of any sort is detected, the applicable entry and votes will be disqualified.

Originality:

It's probably impossible to know whether your project is 100% original, has never been posted on Craftster, or made by anyone else in the past.  But if your project was definitely inspired by something you've seen before, please give credit to that project.

Creativity....revisited

So today is the day I "hopefully" go in for my last xray. I've had a ton of time to sketch and get some great designs going in my head and on paper pieces for patterns. I would love to realize those designs into real life little projects to share. Have a great day everyone, and thank you so much for the support and well wishes I have received through this trying time.
XOXO

Update of my ankle

Heya!

So I've been M.I.A. due to having to be on my back for awhile now. New xrays in 2 weeks to see what's where. Thinking good things and staying positive!
